Installing Dabble to your desktop provides the following benefits:

  • A quick and easy icon to access Dabble. No remembering the URL or bookmarking an old project that no longer exists.

  • Always have access, even offline.

  • Your data will persist offline if your browser is set to clear cache to save space.

The recommended way to install Dabble is to use the Progressive Web App that can be installed directly from the app itself.

If you have not already installed the App from this browser you can find a button in the upper right hand corner of the URL bar.

The box with the arrow pointing up for Safari on a Mac, and click Add to Dock.

The blocks with the + in Edge

The screen with the arrow in Chrome

If neither of these are there you can also install them by going to the three dot menu for either Edge or Chrome.

For Edge: Go to Apps and then install Dabble.

For Chrome: Go to Cast, save and share... and then Install Dabble:

As a Note for Mac users, if you install via Edge or Chrome these shortcuts are not added to your Dock. If you want Dabble to be available in your Dock be sure to use Safari to install Dabble this way.

If none of these methods appeal to you, Dabble can be installed through the dedicated desktop app for your operating system. You can find the download link at https://dabblewriter.com/downloads.
